something for us to ponder..meh baca meh..

We are so comfortable with what we have today that we dare to risk it all. We are so comfortable with the knowledge that we have, that we dare condemning others so and so. We thought we are good, only that there's always someone next to us. A better practising Muslim. He/she is so pious, and yet humble. And we are often forgetful of that. Where do we stand? Shall I say, we are too self-absorbed then?

Maybe we are just being ourselves. Right. But look, hypocrisy hasn't a thing to do when you are only submitting yourself to the will of Allah. You, returning to the fitrah is an achievement, and not something that you should be ashamed of. NO. Instead, be proud! Be honored! Don't you at least, feel awakened?

Something is not right. Something just does not feel right. But we keep going not realizing that it is practically a sign from Allah for us to reflect, to muhasabah and thus, improvise........ We are often so assured of ourselves that we barely take heed despite calls of warning. What are we doing? What WERE we doing?

And they are simply comparing things which aren't connected at all. Let alone, relevant! It only stands for amusement, I'm sure. If only they understand with their critical thinking cap on.... then things would not be so hard to digest. What is it? Maybe it's egotism.............

We force our mind to think that it is fateful, to think that somehow it makes sense, and we harder believe that we are being blessed with so and so, except that we're actually blocking our mind from seeing truth. How pity. We just can't accept the odds because we're so overwhelmed with what we want, with our nafs! Something to ponder upon my dear brothers and sisters in Islam. InshaAllah :)
